I am experienced in working with neurodiversity through my roles within education, the NHS and counselling.

BLAST Technique, is a gentle therapeutic approach that uses guided eye movements and calming techniques to help with PTSD, anxiety, phobias and other trauma-related difficulties. BLAST can be used alongside counselling or as a stand-alone therapy, and some clients experience relief within as little as 20 minutes. The technique works by helping the brain reprocess difficult or traumatic experiences in a calmer, more manageable way within a supportive therapeutic relationship. It is also widely used as an alternative to EMDR. I continue to be amazed by the positive impact BLAST can have. One client recently described feeling a heaviness and pressure lift from their chest during a session — it’s experiences like this that continue to inspire the work I do.

I offer a FREE first session, so that you can get a sense of whether counselling feels right for you. The client-counsellor relationship is important, and this free first session gives us both the chance to get a feel for one another and see whether we feel comfortable working together.
